Establishment of Trusted Internet Architecture Laboratory
Trusted Internet Architecture Laboratory Founding Prospectus
This joint research laboratory aims to reconstruct the Internet as a communication platform for a digital society that allows people to better conduct their lives and business activities online with unspecified parties and companies, while ensuring personal safety and security. To this end, we will develop mechanisms to ensure personal safety and security that were not available when the Internet was first put into operation and are currently realized through a combination of various additional factors, such as authentication and authorization guaranteed by specific platforms, and the clicking of agreements to obtain personal information on web pages. The project will research from a global perspective the development of technologies and the design of architectures that will enable implementation on the existing Internet.
